    DISCLAIMER

    Effective Upon Engagement of Services

    By ordering and/or using the services offered by Oklahoma Judicial Process Servers (OJPS) process serving, private investigations, polygraph tests, notary public, nationwide skip traces, document retrieval, nationwide criminal background reports, and all other services offered, you request and agree to these terms and conditions stated in this disclaimer. Instructing our services will be a legally binding contract to observe the following policies.

    Service Charges and Billing Policy

    The charges are based on each service provided, not results. That is, you must pay whether or not the search, delivery, or investigation effort bears findings or successful completion. These charges accompany the resources, time, and professional effort involved in carrying out the service.

    Standard charges apply to each activity, whether done directly by OJPS or through our verified third-party partners. OJPS reserves the right to charge any fee based on the required complexity, urgency, and extent of the service.

    Acknowledgement of Limitations and Information Accuracy

    We are committed to providing quality, competent, and prompt services. Nevertheless, by applying to our services, you accept and realize that:

    • No Result Guarantee: Given the nature of the investigative and legal support services, we cannot guarantee any particular results or that the investigation results will be to your satisfaction.

    • Data Source Limitations: The data provided via criminal background checks, skip trace efforts, or any other public/private databases are limited to the quality and availability of the source data, which is not always complete, up-to-date, or accurate.

    • Use of Technology and Third-Party Vendors: Certain services might require third-party platforms, authorized vendors, databases, and software programs. These sources are chosen because of their credibility, but OJPS does not always ensure their complete accuracy.

    Client Responsibility and Legal Compliance

    By using our services, you confirm and warrant that:

    • You are legally entitled to request and utilize any information or services accessed.

    • You will not use any information or findings supplied by OJPS for illegal, unethical, defamatory, or harmful purposes.

    • You take all legal responsibility for using documents, reports, or findings obtained through OJPS.

    Confidentiality and Ethical Conduct

    OJPS performs services in compliance with all the relevant laws and ethical and confidentiality requirements. We will treat any personal or sensitive information we provide with discretion and professionalism. We have the right to refuse or cease service in the case that:

    • A request is against the law or ethics;

    • You give false or misleading information;

    • The involvement threatens our integrity or professional duties.

    Polygraph and Investigative Services

    According to Oklahoma law, the results of a polygraph examination are not necessarily admissible in court and can be limited by certain legal provisions. The services are provided on an informational and investigative basis only, and OJPS assumes no responsibility for the interpretation and utilization of polygraph results by any third parties.

    Notary Public Services

    OJPS notaries serve in conformity with the Oklahoma Notary Act. A notary only performs the functions of identifying and witnessing signatures. We are not attorneys and do not give legal advice; we do not interpret or certify the content of the documents signed before us.

    Third-Party Vendors and Affiliates

    OJPS might, as need be, partner with licensed third-party vendors, researchers, or investigators to complete service requests. Though we take all possible measures to screen our partners, OJPS cannot be held responsible for inaccuracies caused by third-party data and software restrictions in their reporting tools. You accept to indemnify OJPS and its affiliates against third-party mistakes.

    Client Information

    You warrant and represent that the information you submit to OJPS is genuine, correct, and authentic to the best of your knowledge. Such data is used in making searches, delivering documents, and carrying out investigational tasks. Any false or misleading information will lead to a delay or jeopardization of results, and it can also lead to the termination of services.

    Right to Refuse or Terminate Services

    OJPS has the right to reject any service or discontinue it at will, especially when we feel that the request:

    • Is unlawful or unethical

    • Presents a conflict of interest;

    • Exposes our employees or contractors to harm

    • Distorts the purpose or utilization of the service.
