Scans for College & University Mediation ServicesStudents who enroll in our nation’s many colleges and universities are supposed to be entering an invaluable time in their lives of knowledge, enlightenment, and access to information and new ways of thinking that make people less religious and conservative and more liberal and nonreligious. Many scholars enjoy their time despite the heavy fees for things like tuition, housing, food, and add-ons/up-selling known as “student fees” which can add to crippling debt for many academics as they enter the job force. For others, legal disputes arise for a variety of reasons that necessitate things like court litigation, arbitration, and/or mediations for college and university students. When this happens, people contact our private detective agency for help.

Examples of Significant Disputes Involving College & University Students:

There are many kinds of disagreements and arguments that can arise between different parties at the collegiate levels. Below are the most common clusters of groups experiencing entropy at these levels:

University Scholars vs. Faculty and/or Educational Institution:

This type of complaint usually comes when a student has a complaint against a faculty member and/or the school itself. It may involve issues of a diverse nature, which may include but are not limited to the following:

Sexual Harassment/Misconduct:

With all the testosterone, lack of consensual sex education, and rape culture our society does not seem to always mind, it is no wonder that so many sexual assaults happen on college and university campuses nationwide and in other countries as well. Our rape mediators often oversee the civil side of these allegations of sexual harassment and other sex offenses. Law enforcement personnel usually oversee the criminal side of it though. Indeed, rape can occur between students, faculty members, or between a faculty member and student at the college or university, and the consequences can be devastating.

When the victims want financial compensation, they may enter negotiations with the university or college via our mediation services. This gives both sides the chance to avoid expensive, time-consuming, appealable court litigation and even less formal but costly arbitration. Sexual harassment mediations are confidential, and unlike civil and criminal cases in court they do not require a judge to seal them to keep them out of the public eye. Thus, many times both sides tend to prefer our college mediations over other forms of dispute resolution services like arbitration and civil lawsuits.

Arbitrary and Capricious Grading:

While it is true that many, if not all, colleges and universities have special appeals boards that oversee allegations of academic misconduct by both students and professors alike. It seems that most times the scholars end up losing, having to appeal to university boards that inherently favor the professors in most instances. Indeed, many of them even provide their faculty with free legal counsel via their academic institutions, while the students, despite paying heavy tuition and fees, must either provide their own, secure the help of a law student at the university, or must go without representation.

Of course, our academic appeals mediators also see plenty of instances where, in the most uneducated, red-necked, bigoted, overly religious red states like Oklahoma, little whiny anti-transgender Karens like Samantha Fulnecky use idiotic, outdated, non-academic sources like the “Bible” as “justification” to express their ignorance, lack of intelligence, and bigotry in academic papers. Forget that religious books are mostly fiction, contain zero empirical evidence or peer-reviews, and are completely unscientific.

Instead of putting time and effort into her work, University of Oklahoma junior Samantha Fulnecky used vague references to the Bible as her only “justification” to say that people who are transgender are bad and fake, contributing to further human rights violations against transgender individuals – including her transgender instructor, OU graduate teaching assistant Mel Curth.

The world watched and even held protests, while the University of Oklahoma, at Governor John Kevin Stitt’s urging, sacked TA Mel Curth and told Samantha Fulnecky that the university would not count the zero she received for her horrible essay against her. The world further mocked the high number of hillbillies and Honey Boo Boos that occupy a state where in 2025 Oklahoma fell to dead last – 50th – in education.

Nevertheless, our university appeals mediators at our private investigation agency in OKC stand ready and willing to offer both the student, Samantha Fulnecky, the school, OU, and former TA, Mel Curth, the chance to sit down together for mediation services with us. Otherwise, this whole incident will age about as well as the Nazi death camps before and during World War II.

Misrepresentation/Fraud:

Some students become angered when their educational institutions suddenly close without warning like Platt College of Oklahoma City did, locking its students out one day with zero advanced notice. Others, like civilly convicted sexual assaulter Donald John Trump, misrepresent their “universities” like Trump University and defraud its students with fake, low quality, misleading “educational” programs.

Mediation services for misrepresentation and fraud can help both willing sides come together and work out a win-win solution for the highest benefit of all parties involved. By avoiding, lengthy, expensive arbitration and lawsuits, both sides can walk away as winners if they are willing to negotiate.

Negligence:

Negligence is another area our Oklahoma private detective agency sometimes get mediation requests for. When a university is negligent and should have done more to prevent a homicide like the families of the four Idaho college students Kaylee Goncalves, Ethan Chapin, Madison Mogen, and Xana Kernodle claim, they may seek to file a lawsuit that could enter into negligence mediation services.

Indeed, the families and their murder private investigators note that there was much more Washington State University could have done to prevent sociopath Bryan Christopher Kohberger from massacring these four bright, young college students who had their entire lives ahead of them. Their families are contending that there was much more that university officials could have done sooner to have prevented a psychopath like Bryan Kohberger from having continued access to vulnerable students like the ones he slaughtered.

Another interesting area of school negligence that our homicide private detective notes might require negligence mediations include the assassination of the MIT professor and massacre at Brown University. Could the educational institutions have done more to help prevent the needless loss of lives?

One should definitely ask whether more students in the Uvalde student slaying could have survived, had law enforcement officers not waited around like cowards too afraid to go stop a school shooter while little kids needlessly died. Our homicide private investigations show some neglect on the part of the Uvalde law enforcement agencies and those working there that day who failed to act. Aside from the impending criminal charges against now-former officers there, you can also expect to see upcoming civil lawsuits that might require mediations based upon claims of gross negligence.

Students vs. Students:

Academicians can and sometimes do get into conflicts with one another. These disputes are often mild-to-moderate, but sometimes they can come with serious implications, both civil and criminal. When these happen, our criminal defense attorneys and civil law attorneys in Oklahoma City are ready to help, and we also offer a broader range of legal services that can also prove to be useful to young and old students alike who are experiencing entropy return to a state of negative entropy. Indeed, the most common areas of conflict between scholars at colleges and universities that our PI agency can help with include, but are not limited to, the following:

Threats, Stalking, Fights, Homicide, University Campus Rapes, Sexual Assaults:

Scholars at schools can also get into fights with one another, and things like campus rape at sorority parties, dorm rooms, and in parking lots can occur. Sexual assault mediations and rape private investigations are something we get plenty of requests for from college students and their families. This continued need for these legal services demonstrates that our society is not teaching enough about consent or even basic sex education classes, and that our society is sometimes far too ready to brush aside genuine claims from real victims of sexual offenses.

Stalking can also be an issue, as can homicide, threats, etc. University students are just humans like everyone else, and as such sometimes they make serious mistakes. These scholars and their parents can hire bodyguards from our private detective agency or might seek to locate the best criminal private investigator to help find the culprits of vicious crimes like rape, forcible oral sodomy, murder, etc.

Car Accident Mediations:

Our personal injury private investigator also notes that automobile accidents are common among younger people and elderly individuals at college campuses due to their tender ages. Thus, lawsuits and auto accident mediations abound, because both younger people and older individuals often lack financial resources and thus typically do not want to claim responsibility for a car accident that might raise their insurance rates.

Theft, Fraud, Romance Scams, & Human Trafficking:

Crimes like theft, fraud, romance scams, and sex trafficking certainly occur sometimes on campuses throughout the USA and indeed across the world. College students are sometimes the perpetrators of these crimes, because they often do not have substantial amounts of money. Like others in similar situations, some of them will seek ways to con people out of money by force, threat, coercion, deceit, or human trafficking.

Mediators for theft and romance scams can help the perpetrators and their victims work out restitution amounts, which might even help the perpetrators avoid criminal charges if receiving the money back satisfies the victims. Whatever the case, these mediation sessions can help both victims and perpetrators work out delicate details as to how it will take place. Hopefully, this mediation can help both sides avoid civil litigation, though sometimes judges offer or suggest mediation services as a part of the lawsuit process.

Faculty Member vs. Faculty Member and/or the College/University:

Fellow professors, provosts, deans, teaching assistants, university presidents, department chairs, and more can all end up squabbling with each other over trifles. But sometimes quibbling turns into some serious allegations and issues.

Faculty Member vs. Students:

When professors and other staff and students argue over grades, ignore professional boundaries and impregnate one another, problems arise. There are indeed plenty of things that staff members and their scholars can fight over, and we have listed some of them below as follow:

Faculty/Student Sexual Relations:

Sometimes students want that “extra credit” that ends in the student – or the professor – getting knocked up or just sex. Whether it is right or wrong, legal, or illegal, it varies by state, university, and country. Most, if not all, universities and even some governments have rules and laws against it, for better or worse.

Our undercover university private investigators at our private investigation agency near me are experts in their field at going undercover to get evidence of what some may consider inappropriate or even illegal student-teacher relationships at colleges and universities nationwide. We can go into any college campus anywhere in the nation or even in other countries to see if the professors there are hitting on students and offering “extra credit” for “special services” they might offer after class.

Our college and university campus mediators are also highly skilled at working together with faculty, students, and the universities they work at/attend at helping to amicably resolve their differences civilly. Our legal firm can help the parties work together to decide if the faculty member will keep his/her/their job, if the student will stay enrolled in the college or university, and what, if any, damages the university must pay to the college student. Child support could even be an issue on the table, if the college student or faculty member got knocked up in the process.

Academic Disputes/Appeals:

As mentioned earlier, our mediators can also deal with issues surrounding academic disputes and appeals, but universities often have appeals boards who directly oversee these complaints and allegations. Even so, sometimes courts, arbitrators, and mediation services get involved to try to offer guidance, support, and to assist by offering their alternative dispute resolution services.

Theft, Harassment, Sexual Assault, Murder:

Accusations of rape, harassment, theft, and outright homicide are profoundly serious and can carry lifelong consequences. Homicide mediations and other forms of alternative dispute resolutions for things like sex crimes, harassment, threats, etc., might accompany or be in lieu of criminal charges in some cases.

College/University vs. Faculty Member:

There are also many instances when college professors and other university staff can experience difficulties with the educational institutions they work for and vice versa. There are multiple areas we shall explore here today, but please keep in mind that we do not intend for this to be a complete listing of all areas. That said, some common areas of conflict between universities and their staff may include, but are not limited to, the following:

Wrongful Termination:

Sometimes faculty members mention issues of wrongful termination cases where their colleges and universities fired or suspended them without cause and/or due process. Some higher educational institutions and their respective administrations can become crass, arrogant, and full of themselves, hurting students and faculty alike.

Our social media scan private investigators found through their digital private investigations that Oklahoma Christian University unlawfully and immorally fired Professor Michael O’Keeffe in 2022 for having a 2SLTBGQIA+ speaker talk with his class, which is terrible. Everyone should boycott this bigoted, religious, fake university.

As mentioned earlier, our social media scans also uncovered that the University of Oklahoma also wrongfully terminated graduate teaching assistant Mel Curth for assigning a grade of zero to an ignorant, bigoted, unintelligent student named Samantha Fulnecky in a psychology class who was so lazy that she merely generally referenced the Bible as her justification for the bigotry and hatred she spewed forth in her essay on gender and transgender people.

Instead of supporting their teaching assistant, the University of Oklahoma sadly cow-towed to Oklahoma Governor John Kevin Stitt and made an example of their graduate teaching assistant by suspending and then subsequently firing her. The university should have instead explained to Samantha Fulnecky why religious texts, which are indeed works of fiction made by men solely to control others and get money and power, is not a source of empirical data and research. Thus, while these tomes might belong in religious institutions like churches and private schools, the University of Oklahoma is a public university and as such religion has no place there like that.

Academic Freedom Issues:

Our social media private detective has also noted that academic freedom can also be an issue. The issues we described above about the wrongful terminations of two amazing instructors are perfect examples of how administration can sometimes get too full of itself. Both Professor Michael O’Keeffe and Mel Curth have taken legal action against their respective universities, which have included wrongful termination private investigations and mediation services for wrongful termination and suppression of academic freedom.

Toxic Workplace Environment:

OCU and OU both wrongfully foster extremely toxic cultures of distrust and abuse, and they significantly lack care and concern for diverse populations of scholars and faculty members alike. Sadly, they are not the only colleges and universities who engage in such behaviors though. Thus, sometimes our private investigation agency in OKC receives requests for both university private investigations and mediation services for faculty members and their institutions of higher education.

Administrative Overreach:

Sometimes faculty members claim that their administrators’ reach exceeds their grasp. From the misappropriation of funds to nepotism to wrongful terminations and more, our social media scan private detectives have noticed that a need sometimes exists for lawsuits, arbitration, and mediation services to help resolve them.

Educational Institution vs. Scholar:

Sometimes universities and colleges take adverse actions against students, whether rightfully or wrongfully. In both circumstances and especially in the latter, some higher educational institutions take things too far and cause entropy. From wrongful suspensions and expulsions to pursuing students who have not fully paid their tuition and fees, our mediators can help universities and their respective students work to resolve these disputes in an amicable way.

Suspended/Expelling Students:

Sometimes students do terrible things, like engage in academic dishonesty, commit murder, or rape another person that may warrant their suspension, dismissal, and/or expulsion from academic programs. But sometimes they also get it wrong, as was the case when the University of Oklahoma wrongfully dismissed OU School of Social Work student Dr. Makayla Saramosing in 2002 for things like reporting child abuse.

Academic appeals boards often oversee issues like suspensions, expulsions, and dismissals, but some scholars decide to involve the courts, arbitrators, and/or mediators as a part of their due process. Our PI agency does occasionally receive these kinds of requests from scholars nationwide, because mediation services for colleges and universities are often in high demand.

Unpaid Tuition/Fees/Housing:

Sadly, the cost to get a proper higher education in the United States has skyrocketed over the recent decades. What should be free at public colleges and universities is now extremely far from it. Thus, some college and university students, even those who receive scholarships, grants, and loans, can sometimes fall behind on their payments.

When this happens, the schools may suspend their classes and access to records. They might also involve collection agencies to go after the unpaid tuition, fees, and other unpaid expenses that the academicians owe. Mediation services for bad debts and unpaid loans may also come into play, because our legal services firm can help both scholars and their colleges and universities work out agreements on how much they will need to repay, what access the students will have to their grades and transcripts, and whether they may continue attending classes or re-enrolling for future semesters.

Behavioral Complaints:

From drunk and disorderly complaints to more serious matters like sexual assaults, stalking, homicide, and other crimes, sometimes universities must take disciplinary action against their students to protect everyone else at the college/university and to uphold the general reputation of the institution of higher education. Disciplinary boards, criminal charges, civil lawsuits, arbitration, and Oklahoma City mediation services may all become part of the dispute resolution process.

How Social Media Scans Can Help Resolve University Mediations:

Our digital private investigator notes that one key, often-missed tool that colleges and universities nationwide have that can help them solve both civil and criminal cases and to fully vet their new potential scholars is the social media scan. Social media scans are the perfect product of digital private investigations that can pull up all kinds of information about an individual or even the university itself. From rooting out stalkers and rapists to discovering terrible schools that treat their students and faculty members like cow dung, social media profiles and other internet sites have plenty of invaluable information out there at our private investigator’s fingertips.

If you are a potential student or faculty member seeking to attend or work at a college or university, have experienced difficulties with other students or faculty there and want to check them out, or are a university official who wants more comprehensive, in-depth information about the students who attend your school, then our social media private investigation services are the perfect choice for you. Let our experts guide you step-by-step to form a peaceful, win-win resolution for all parties. Our legal staff has been doing this for many years and promises you the highest levels of professionalism, experience, dedication, and the best possible pricing.
